e30 m3 car stalling when going 1st to neutral.having to rev

my car wants to stall when im giong into neutral from first gear when im stopping. she wont stall if i dont let the revs drop below 1000 - 1100 in neutral.its a bit tricky need to use left foot for cluth and brake.
ive changed the rotor arm distributer cap and leads .i also had to remove the airflow meter for access for renewing the altenator tension rod.car ran fine till the rotor arm cracked and smashed. any help woould be helpfull. ocram

Check the flywhel sensors for the motronic on top of the bellhousing, tend to cuase a miss at light load, otherwise talk to davy at bm motors.

Plus look for vacumm leaks around the throttle boddies
