hi. i bought a pair of front blistein b6 front shocks from ebay and should they have come with some sort of spring cup. Also when compressing the shocks at the same time one shock goes about 10-15 mm lower than the other this dosent seem right to me but i might be wrong. Any help would be sweet.

No, they are the right ones for you if you have a 318iS, 325 etc
The spring cup is part of the strut assembly. The shocks are inserted into this.

Not too sure on the different travel on each of them. You shouldn't really be worrying about bottoming out with them anyway unless you have lowering springs.
