Hey guys, just a quick question, i changed the timing belt and water pump on my 320i m20 engine, and i am going to replace the coolant but im just wondering if i would have to drain any left over coolant from the engine block drain plug as i have already drained the coolant from the radiator and when i took the water pump off to replace it there was sum water that came out as you would expect after removing the pump so does that mean that all the coolant/water has been removed completly from the engine and i would not have to drain the engine through the engine block drain plug?
thanks guys
regards

There's plenty of coolant left in the block that needs to me removed.
Lazy way to remove it is to flush it out with clean water, and then add the required amount of concentrated coolant when refilling.
Beware of airlocks when first starting up. Heads can be cracked easily!
