So you have an issue with you temp gauge and rev counter - have you check you SI batteries? Could be the instrument cluster...

SI batteries? hmm im a real newbie to all this modern technology. im a land rover enthusiast!

the temp gauge moves a little when the ignition is turned on. it had crossed my mind that the two may be linked.

ill look into it soon.

most likely to be the si board in back the batterys leak and wreck the board, a new cluster will be needed if this is the case.

A fresh SI board may be required, but hardly the whole cluster!
