stains on me roof lining

ive just noticed lots of water marks on my roof lining (93 touring) would this just be the sunroof drains blocked or a seal on the sunroof

any help apreciated :D

or could be that the sunroof tray is rotton.

how would i know if it is would it be obvious as i look at it or will i have to drop my lining first.

I would say the drains are blocked.

Sunroof seal is not intended to be a water seal, although it obviously reduces the amount of water coming in.
You can inspect the front of the sunroof area just by opening the roof.

Don't want to worry you but these marks aren't light brown are they? On a lighter note, it's puncture holes from stilletto heels I've got a problem with.

Water marks on fabric are usually all light brown so don't panic. Do as is said and inspect the area thoughly and check the drains. If you are still suspicious then remove the lining and inspect further. I have had success with removing these marks using Autoglym foaming uppholstery cleaner and a damp micrfibre cloth.
