hi guys,
just wondering if u can tell me the speaker sizes (both in the front kick panels and rear parcel shelf) in my '87 325e.
would be a great help.
also, are aftermarket speakers a very difficult job to fit? the car already has aftermarket speakers in it but they are awful.
thanks in advance,
angus

so 13cm all round? yeah, not really into fully modding the sound system, the head unit i have has plenty of go but the speakers cant take it. thinking some newer ones will go better, just dont want to go overboard...

by buying some good quality 2 or 3 way 13cm speakers (best on a budget are Pioneer/JVC/Kenwood) and simply fitting them in place of the standard speakers (which were ok in the 80's but dont compare to modern ones) then you will notice some improvement.

You will not need to do anything special as the mounting holes will be pretty much the same and the speaker wires will just plug straight in.
