When removing the throttle body heater plate is there 2 plates or just one? If two do you remove both. Anyone done this who can comment on it, and any pics

did it last week and no problems so far. i found it easiest to remove the inlet manifold, once you do that all shall become clear. there's also a very good thread on M42club regarding it, linky:

Thanks for this info and the link, did removing the throttle body heater plates make any difference? And did you link the pipes back up or blank them off?

i linked them up.
i've yet to have i wound up after a long run so i can't really tell any difference, i've done it mainly for reliability reasons becasue the way i see it the less pipe, the less chance of springing a leak.
