Thanks for all advise.went to dealers to get bit but they have never heard of this repair kit.does anyone know what its called.also when fitting to the car whats best way to join on old wires...solder with heat shrink,bullet connectors,chewing gum?.........

Dont know what kit you are referring to but the best way to join the wires is to strip back the old wire till its nice and shiney solder to new and heat shrink, although I did connect my speedo sensor wires with bullet connectors and then wrapped in insulation tape, pretty sure this is why my speedo still doesnt work, although I have my suspicions that the problem lies in the head unit itself and not at the diff sensor
