DUDE, where's my project.
found it half way down page 4

.
collected some more parts and i'm only missing an e36 rack now,i need this asap as i wanmt to get this part done when the bay is still empty.
i had an e36 propped up by a couple of old wheels each side today to get at the rack and it's the only e36 in the yard at the mo.just before removing it i thought i'd check it over first by turning it after checking for split gaiters or leaks and all was fine till i turned it when it made a ticking/notchy nois from around the linkage.it only does it on left turns

Been advised to remove the linkage and check it again which makes sense as the car is in vgc so the rack hopefully will be the same.
few pics of a couple of additions to the parts needed pile,
couple of engine mounts,
3.64 lsd
e36 rack conversion pipes
i have a DanThe fan loom on the way to go with one of his engine looms i already have,
that loom on my conversion looked well ropey so more money had to be spent here and start afresh.
the fan loom comes with x3 wires so you can have a twin speed fan or a single speed on by using only two wires from it.i'm going twin speed and got a fan resistor for the job, aka the hedgehog
it has x2 wires at one end to connect to the fan and x3 wires the other end to connect to the loom.
and a nice little bracket to bolt it behind the grill
next up and my best part,as i found it and know it will work with my plans is the front mounted flush fitting 13"pusher fan. this will get mounted straight to the rad core using thick rubber washers 10mm bolts and nylock nuts [thanks for the tip Dan,so much better that cable ties]
this is how it should look.
only on a smaller rad

.
things should start happening soon,i hope...
