My 1993 318i facelift convertible needs a new O/S rear wheel arch. Are they the same as a 2 door coupe or are they different? Any help or suggestions to point me in the right direction on where to get one would be much appreciated.

Do you need Inner or Outers? Coupe ones are 100% different. I got outers from BMW last year. £830 for the entire rear quarters both sides

Thanks, I just need the offside outer (right), my mate who's a welder/fabricator reckons he can sort the inner. Do you know if coupe/2 door rear arches that can be made to fit with a degree of "fettling"? I think I've read somewhere that the major difference between them is the depth of the sill, the convertible being deeper for increased strength?

I think the actual wheel cutout shape is slightly different, if you check my build thread you can see someone put one on the passenger side of mine and the wheel gap is much bigger on that side.
