I looked at the bottom but I couldn’t work out what the two objects were, they look like two wheels but what they do ?

It's a vent from a railway tunnel.

It`s one of three air vents created when digging the tunnel in Morley for the trans pennine railway .
You can just make out the rail tracks at the bottom very far down.
