Very scary moment

D-day for the new ball joint for me is d-day next week and when the hospital called me this morning my arse fell out. I`ve been off work now for four months and still a bit away from going back so I have been absolutely dreading this
call................................................. but it was just routine questions about next wednesday. Hell what a relief.
OOOr lass came down to me in tears but all is good so far.

Ever had one of those moments ?

Yes when the tax man wrote to me and said I was going to be receiving a call from them to discuss my accounts. All was good though mine are on the level.

yep, after a "routine" chest x-ray, the doctor rang me & told me there was a large patch of scarring on my left lung,

my arse started twitching when he said they had found a small dark lump in my lungs, but not to worry as it was a calcified granuloma that looked to have been there a while & was the result of a chronic chest infection a few years ago.

though my arse was going to eat the chair i was sat on at the time till he said not to worry.

Yeh it is mate, I had the other one done nine years ago and things are great so fingers crossed for this one.

Yeh I fell down the stairs full length a few days before the opp , had a shit load of stiches in the head and had to have surgery on my right hand so the opp had to wait a few more weeks but all was well.

the misses had a mammogram early called to the hospital for a chat , fookin cancer world fell apart , shes just had the op all went well 6 weeks recovery the 6 mths chemo , but we will beat this nasty fucker

i wish you & your good lady all the luck in the world, my dad had a cancer scare this year, found a growth in his bladder but managed to get it in time, it really does tare your wold apart, also a good friend of mine is battling the big C (prostate cancer).

I truly wish you and your wife the very best, we went through brain surgery for a tumour removal with our eldest son last year, but he has come out the other side well. And more recently our 10 year old sons appendix burst resulting in full open surgery, intensive care etc etc all very stressful times so do empathise with you.

Same here, my friend was my first client I met in 2000, been working with him for 18 years (making stone gothic mirrors) was diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer last October. Currently starting talks about taking over the running of his business and running it alonside mine, he is struggling to cope with the work. He has had chemo and now has started radio therapy so hoping for the best from that.

running two firms side by side will be very stressful, i did it myself a few years back, never again,
