Clutch is about £100, but will need to be fitted by my garage, and I don't really have the equipment to do the job, 4 post ramp for example :?
Should have used the RR, oh hang on ;o)))))

you're not having much luck are you? time for some divine intervention?

dread to think what the labour cost would be to replace the clutch on a crv,
good luck either way.
Not sure Steve, the gearbox is mounted on the side, therefore, remove driveshafts & prop (nothing will be siezed as had it all in bits for new bushes a couple of months ago), undo what ever is holding it in place, not too much I don't think and drop it down. Trying to make it sound easy to make myself feel better lol

well now you describe it like that it could be done with a support beam across the top to hold the engine up while you drop the subframe & a couple of axle stands to give you a bit more room underneath.

anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.

Oh I see, well yes, so still less than 1500 for an original Shepard hut chassis.

yeah well, might as well. What is it this week? Signing on week? You haven't had a job for 2 years, but I assume you're "actively seeking employment with evidence to prove".

Stuff that for a laugh, I don't sign on I just "fiddle my tax returns" ;o)))

Get a build thread up on the mobile home, errr I mean the Shepherds Hut as they do look nice when done well and we all know that you will do it well.

Might start that repointing soon...... ;o))))

I will do that, should be a good little build. I have drawn my plans up, in short, the idea is to have the door at the front of the chassis, with the steps going up through where the engine used to sit and the front wings re attached. Should look pretty cool.

It would be, but no, building it specifically for an office. With the new business I really need one, my current business doesn't really require an office but the way the new business operates it does, and our house is too small.

Check with your accountant to see what costs in the purchase and the build/materials of the office can be offset against your tax bill.
