The headline arrived to my mobile on a news feed. However, check out the BBC news site if you need to read about it.
In all fairness to Ryanair - because I am a fair person, they might need to review the 7-10kg hand luggage policy to save on weight as weight = fuel to save costs, but this is a consequence of their customer base - usually obese people.
What you save on luggage is lost on passenger weight.

Sorry, no offence mate, I didn't realise he was your uncle.
Why would I need one of those, I'm not cheap and can afford to fly business class and/or with a decent airline?

He is Irish I am Polish so not my Uncle, you can afford business class, to be honest its not that expensive an upgrade, I don't know the guy but he did create something that millions of people use year in and year out, as a businessman I do respect his what he has created I wish that I could have been in the position or had the balls to create something like he did.
I think he started out at KPMG, you know someone there as well don't you?

He was the finance director that started counting beans and cutting back. Sharp practices such as never buying pens at meetings and using pens supplied by the hotel.
He’s just cheap. The airline is cheap. Frequented by cheap people looking to pay the least amount to get to Spain so that they can spend it on drink.
I read an article written by one of his pilots claiming they only put enough fuel on to reach their destination. God help you if you have to divert. They then make mayday calls claiming insuffficient fuel to jump landing queues. (This could be bull, but it’s written about the airline).
So, you think Business Class flights are a cheap ticket. He’s a comparison - London to Singapore £3k. Economy £750.
Do your own research into fare prices.

I fly First Class you peasant ;o)))))
All planes are required to carry additional fuel, for tasting, flight diversions and when in a holding pattern.
Fake news again Gert but them O'Leary did build something out of the £10 Billion loss the Guinness Peat Aviation nearly went under from.
Not everyone is as rich as you and can afford to spend £12 on a family of four to fly to Singapore so these cheap airlines do allow the ones on a lower income, for example your Welsh workers to at least have a chance of a holiday somewhere away from Wales ;o))))

Lol. Sure you do!
I don’t believe in cheap airfares so that every peasant can fly - mostly Brexit voters.

All remainers as they value their jobs and incomes.
Anyway, I didn't realise Ryanair had a first class. That would have surprised me seeing as their entire operation is based on a third-class service model.
Is it true that they play celebratory music and everyone claps when they land? Probably out of relief at having made the journey without crashing or something.
Bet when the cabin doors are open, the stench is strong enough to knock the poor ground staff over too.

Who said Ryanair had a first class your hatred is clouding your judgement, they grow per year and carried 130 million passengers in the last year up from 75M in 2011, there business model may be suspect but it works, I be if you could grow your companies the same way then the other directors would love you.
Anyways without Ryanair how would the cheap Eastern European labour you employ be able to visit there families back home, all the Welsh are on benefits anyways.
I am looking forward to Brexit........ ;o)))))

We don’t employ easties. The ones that we did were paid the going rate, before you start that rubbish argument! a˜‚
I don’t really care for Ryanair - you might have guessed that by now. Business model is great and profitable. While there are people that want a no frills travel option (and there are obviously plenty) they will continue to prosper, but things are getting difficult even for them, blhence the luggage charges. Aviation fuel isn’t cheap.

Costs are rising as well as wages as in all industries, they still turned a £1.2 billion profit in the last year.
Michael O'Leary is a clever man, release something to the press and they jump all over it and its in the papers for weeks = loads of free advertising, look at the hoo hah when they said they where going to introduce standing only places in planes.......... Give him one year at your company and you could retire a multimillionaire to spend a life in luxury and lycra.
Whats the projection of costs rising at your company in the next year as the devaluation of the £ is taking its toll oil is on the up, business rates on the up do you pay the minimum wage or a working wage?

What makes you think I’m not a millionaire and quite happy with what I have got?

Wrong. I moved here from London and I have worked approx 3-4 a week since I was in my 40’s, so basically retired then.
