A short wile ago, my wifes polo radiator gave up the ghost and I ordered one from cp4l which duely turned up on time, except it was for a completely different car.
My car guy had to buy one somewhere else as we needed her car urgently so I set the wheels in motion to return the item to cp4l.
Over the following four weeks, I sent five e-mails and phoned up four times (no answer each time) and no contact was made.
I passed this on to my legal team (wife) and within days they called me to apologise.
They collected the item on time and said I could have a £10 voucher as well and "what do you feel about that sir? "
I told them it was very poor for the amount I have spent with them over the years and and to come up with something different.
Now here is where I have to say that I know we all make mistakes and I can live with that but I will not be ignored !!
They offered me a service pack "for your car sir" and when I gave them "my " reg they had to deliver and they did.
My daily is a 330ci sport not the said polo and they came through with the goods, 10 litres of good oil, oil, air, cabin filters, six good plugs as well.
They have given me a partial refund and we have to find out why but "the team" is on the case and she will not let it go.

Sooooo, have you guy`s been in this situation with this company ?

Yep, 5 week wait for pair of driveshafts!

Had I not chased it up (not one bit of communication from them, whole order took 5 deliveries) god knows when i would have got them!

Got the line of stock had just came in.... when i said your showing stock the whole time I got silence!

Parts turned up individually... dont get that?

Getting the surcharge refund via euro car parts nearly did me out 25 quid!

Same company three different names and ways of doing things and differing charge rates

What a farce !?!?

CP4L are a subsidiary of ECP one day they will go internet only and shut the stores down to save on overheads as shopping trends change.

I have had no issues with them to be honest.

They're feckin' hopeless.

Ordered some HB4 bulbs for my Compact. They sent the wrong ones. Contacted them, agreed to return them though for some odd reason they wanted a photo of said bulbs prior to collecting them (???). I did ask would an artist's impression suffice if I didn't have a camera? :D

Bulbs collected but replacements never dispatched and order closed. Errrr....thanks! I'll take my money elsewhere then.

Also ordered a wing mirror for my E46. Sent the wrong part numerous times.

A mate of mine in the trade uses them and is forever having to return incorrect parts. :(

ECP/CP4L are as bad as each other, last year i ordered a front valance for my sport from them,

checked against the reg number, told it would fit & at a cost of £80 i went for it, a few days later it turned up, well ore sort of dumped in the yard while i was out.

unwrapped it only to find it was for a pre-facelift not a facelift.
rang them up & got told to take it to the local ECP branch & they would either swap it for the correct one or give me a refund.

took it in only for the bloke behind the counter to tell me it was the correct one despite me showing him a pic of the old one,

he agreed to a full refund (after disappearing for 10mins "to speak to the manager") & that because i paid on card that it would take 3 - 5 days to go back on my card, just over 2 weeks later after the threat of getting the bank involved the money was refunded minus a "handling & admin fee",

safe to say the "fee" was refunded aswell after a lengthy phone call.

after then i normally go local for anything i need.
if it's got t*ts or wheels it's bound to be trouble...............prove me wrong.
getting oral sex off an ugly person is like rock climbing.....don't look down ;)

I have used these since they first started operating and have had no issues at all with them.
I dont mind people making mistakes and sending the wrong stuff (now and again that is) but to be ignored for weeks is not on at all. !!!
I will not trade with them again and when they finally sort out my account they will be told, not that it matters to them.

I finally got all of my money back after "the team" spoke to them. They deducted postage which I had paid for in the first place but I will not be using them again, too much competition out there now.
