they dont really light up the road at all mate

Ah, so is it basically just a standard light unit with the ring around the edge? I thought the main beam etc was affected as well.
This is one of the things I was considering getting done when I get an E30 but I'll probably end up spending my money making it like new as I have done with the Astra.
