m tech 2 boot spoilers

how are the m tech 2 boot spoilers fitted cause i want to remove the one i've got on my motorsport! all i can see are two bolts fitted either side of the boot. its a genuine bmw one i've just been and had a quote to have it removed and he says there are bolts in the top as well so it will need repainting which is going to set me back 200 quid! is this true?

Yup. 6 (IIRC) bolts through holes in the boot lid too - you can see em if you look through the cutouts inside the bootlid.
E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...
