Has anyone tried or got a set of Toyo Proxes T1R's and are they any good?
Cheers!

Yep, had them on my M50 325i before i sold it, very good tyres all round. Good grip and feedback, but they are a bit soft and slightly noisy. They go for a nice price too!

I had them on my GSI Astra and they were great. Ten times better than the Yokohama's I had on before and any other tyre I had.

they are awesome in the wet.... i cannot overestimate how good they are...
but in the dry for the forst 1k miles they are crap... once they bed in they are better but i think the t1s had better dry performance.....

General concensus seems good then
Not too worried about the first 1000 miles as I've got to run the car in anyway.
Cheers guys!

I have them on my 2.8 Z3 - very good - I have run Michelin Pilots and Goodyear Eagle F1s - the Toyos are as good as the others.

I've got them on my touring, excellent tyres, grippy and pretty good ride comfort considering they're 215/40 17s!!!

Agree with Nav there mate. I dont really drive my car herd, but they are really good. I had 315 Goodyear Eagle F1's before and the Toyo's look better if nothing else

So Ԛ£650 for a set of 17" wheels with 205/40R17 tyres sounds like a reasonable price?
Gonna order them later today
