after trying and trying to bleadthe coolent system i think i have finaly cracked it (not the head)
got it to stay just above halfway now just needs a good blat down the m4 to sort it out like last time
lets hope so anyways

I did the same to the Sport, it was sweet as for 90miles, then the hot blower air went cold again and whoosh went the gauge.
Hope yours is ok.

Like Dave, this all sounds familiar when I picked up the breaker from Worthing, it was overheating constantly, but get it on the motorway it would stay at about halfway, as soon as I slowed down, the guage would shoot up...good luck!

stays just above halfway no matter waht now but id like it on the line like it was
only way i got it like that after i changed the rad was to blast it up the a449 and she was sweet as untill weekend when she worked a bit to hard.

i'll probably buy a new thermostate this week as well but all in all she staying at temp now and heaters are well bloody hot.

we bleed mine
and it was cool for a while
then had to bleed it again
and then the head gasket finaly went!

Officialy confirmed today
nemo is dead
head gasget gone or possibly head
so after driving back to the factory he started smelling iol then noticed that oil was pissing everywhere .
Ive killed nemo
had to have it towed home
Im still in shock
its likelosing a pet or family member
hell nemo was part of me
A replacement engine has been sorced from scot.
Stil wont be the same nemo
though
R.I.P. car ppark drift king

got a hoist you're welcome to use, only problem is i'm in leicester. but it's there if you need it.
engine will go in the back of any hatch with the seats down if u need to, i put my 3.5 in a pug 205 on my own and it wasn't hard!
