Well, this is the plate H27 ANE (see pics below)

Question is.... would it be worth anything to anyone?

Obviously, if someone called Ane owned a Hartge H27, then that would be perfect, but in the real world, is it worth keeping on retention or should i just commit it to the big munich in the sky with the car?

It's just like any other prefix numberplate which has 2 numbers instead of 3, nothing special I don't reckon :(

Yeah, just another prefix plate, I think it's only numbers 20 or under that are used for private plates.
Could be worth something to someone though, it's just finding that person!

I have to own up to being a number plate snob. I hate having a plate that dates the car. I've had personal plates for 20 years now.
Personally, I wouldn't buy any plate with a prefix, suffix or the new 0&5 system.
Any plate is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. And when you buy a plate, you don't own it, you only buy the right to use it on your car. DVLA have the power to withdraw a plate if they want to.
This is why I no longer drive an E30......

Sell it to some one with a Hartge H27 for Ԛ£50-75, it's not really worth anything but if I had a Hartge I'd have it off you for that. At least you should be able to get somthing for it, every penny helps, just don't be greedy. Ԛ£20 is better than nothing

A2 XDM

"A" reg would be 1st August 1983 to 31st July 1984 IIRC

I don't think that plate's worth much at all I'd have to say due to XDM not being initials that anybody has!

I'd say Ԛ£2-300 for it, but eBay with a 1p start price is a good idea as people can then decide themselves what it's worth.

Re what year the car is, it looks like a 1989 car to me
