if it had a standard grill and lost some of the other ''garnesh'' around the doors it would not be such a bad car, there has definately a lot of quality work gone into it, perhaps you lot should not be so quick to judge
its definately the same car, even the thing hanging in the mirror is the same

Have to agree. A few changes and it would look nice.

who would guess that's an E30 from that pic
Those wheels have some serious dish going on.

"Quality work" is useless without a sense of design, style or good taste

Nope, not gonna bite on this one! Change the grill back to standard, & whilst it would still be waaay OTT it wouldn't be offensive. Few more changes (mirrors, lose a few vents...) & it could be pretty damn nice IMO!

E30 in need of wiring loom smoke since April '11...

Exactly. The means do not justify the end.

maybe even if you changed the colour to black so the door bits and grils dont stand out as much it would look better. its surprising how a coulor can make or break a car.... and that shade of orange is just wrong on a car.

Don't be silly! the sides need to be like that! if it wasn't for the air being channelled to the vents, the rear tyres would obviously get too hot.

If it was Black, an orginal grille put back on it and just one large grille in the bumper instead of the three thin ones. The Testerossa shite gotten rid of as well as just widened M3 arches instead of an extra arch on top of them

I think it would look very nice indeed.
The back looks fairly well apart from the colour as it is in fairness

Looks like a mid 90's Max Power mess. Why would you spend a lot of money making your E30 look like that ? WHY ??!!!
e30topless said : Proper BMW's have 4 headlights, last of the run was the E30 and E34/E32 anything after that is just complete shite

I reckon if you asked it nicely, it'll turn into a giant robot.
With all those holes, and in that colour, it looks like a Swiss cheese.
Oh, and the "different number plates" thing; the second pic has time-dates on the side for temporary plates. German plates contain TUV info (Fritz's MoT) so when they run out, you get temporaries until your new plates are ready, or if you've sold the car to someone in another region. That's why they both have the same area code: AS (Amberg-Sulzbach)

that car had its place in history, it was called the 80's. Think about it, the testarossa, TVR Tasmin , Countach, slat nose 911 etc.
i would maybe change a few things on it, give it has a kick ass engine (e36 M3) to go with the looks, and then drive it around wearing aviator shades to piss people off

Style like beauty is a very personal thing, my mum and (i assume) my wife think i am a good lookin chap, you of course may not
and in todays Kitch 80's revival that would be the ultimate car to cruise in, Flock of seaguls hair do would be essential
