My iS doesn't have mudflaps and was thinking of getting a set for it, but from having them on the 316i I know how much muck gathers behind them over time, which is a nasty moisture trap.
Do you think its worth getting a set just to keep the lower bodywork clean?
Mud flaps = rust traps?

take em off every now and then and clean, that's all 
on the plus side, if your e30 only has rust in that area, you're better off than most...

i had spotless arches for ages. put these on and after 2 monthes decided i didnԚ´t like them. when i removed them thet had destroyed the paint and given me rust patches
i wouldnt recomend them unles u get them bonded to the car and are 100% water tight or they will start to give u probs
