kit car????

over the last few weeks i have been toying with the idea of building a light weight chassis and putting a bmws engine and running gear into it ie putting the rear subframe /most of the front ont to it but a tubular frame and thing body pannels on it ect anybody else thoght of this???????..............j

It's been discussed many times on the kit car forums, and a few have been made. In fact martinclan on this forum is doing one now.
Not really suitable for the "7" type cars, because the tilt of the engine makes it too wide.

aye i noticed that about the width but you just make your own thing all of the good things about an e30 325 and non of the weight .........j
