driving home last night from work at 2am and pulled off the motorway at Stirling services.

stopped at the line coming on to the roundabout and there was a Sierra Cosworth drifting round...

I was well impressed.

God i gotta get my BMW back on the road SOON!

Its always great seeing other people having fun in their cars. Makes you realise that youre not the only one who likes to play around when you think no-ones watching.

Any advise on first time drifters, takes balls for first timers, I can never find anywhere with adequate space to practice!!!, I've pulled out of junctions before with the arse hanging out... that was in my old E36 M3, last time though I lost it and ended up a foot from a concrete post!!!!

Haven't tried anything in the E30 325 yet, only got it on the road yesterday!

Thanks
Scared Wilson!!!!!!

Only tried a proper drift in the dry once in mine a couple of weeks after I got it. Was flat in second full sideways round a corner at night (could see all the way up the road that it was clear). The car started getting closer to the hedge in the middle and I already had full lock on so it clipped the edge of the bumper and knocked it off before it pulled out of the slide. Luckily no damage apart from lots of little scrapes along the bottom edge of the bumper.

Need to find somewhere open to practice so I can get used to the car.
