well after removing myself from having a bmw, i brought jap crap.. another honda civic.. it bored me, it wasnt as dfun as my last one,, thereofr it upset me, so i got badgered at work ( audi4u) to purhchase yet again something german, .. a VW passat 20v turbo.. nice car, went to france in it.. didnt miss a beat.. bored of it.. hated it.. now im pinin after another bmw, but i had issues with my last one, out of my control i dont know, overheating issues all the time, lights deciding not to work,.. inhibitor switches being a problem, gear linakge snapping twice, brake servo bar being bent, ( that was my fault however) it was an auto before hand that i changed to an 318is manual, it was a long drawn out affair in whihc i got a bit pished off at, say i was to purchase anohter one, am i to begin another life filled wiht misery of it keep braking or am i just a being a big girl...?

Spend a bit more time picking the right car, don't settle for what you can get your hands on quickly. Even if it means waiting a few months for 'the one!'

Once you have the right car, it'll be worthwhile. Remember though, these are old cars and will need TLC from time to time.

before i bought mine, being in the trade i knew like any old car it had would have its problems, but bided my time, had a good look about and eventually ended up with my touring for £600.shes not perfect but shes fun and considering the milage pretty damn reliable.fist bmw ive ever had, still got a smile on my face even after a year.
