i was just wondering if anyone on here has had a new leaher retrim done recently?

and if so how much did it cost them, if they don't mind telling me, as i am plaaning to do this to the car but i would fancy finding out roughly what to expect beofre ringin around for quotes.

I think Ԛ£800+ for a full retrim, altho ive heard you can do it yourself if your moderately skilled!

well will, i'm an engineer so it shouldn't be too bad, however, its the time, plus i would like to get it professionally done so that i have a warrenty, plus i know that it's been done proper.

Depends on how far you want to go mate. Around Ԛ£800 is what a lor of trimmers charge for the 2 fronts anr the rear seats. Start adding things like the door cards and the price starts going up and it can keep going to over Ԛ£5k like mine depending on when you decide you've had enough :lol:

Just had my touring done, all seats, headlinning, new carpet. all for Ԛ£1500
all done as per bmw spec so that it look original. friging good quality leather as well. i can't send pics at the mo cos the cars being re-sprayed.

Nice one Chris, this is something I planned to do to the sport, get some new heating elements in there while it's apart too.
Will look 100% when it's done!

i need to get some decent runners, or donor sport seats for the mechs, new heaters, and some new seat backs...ouch.

gonna bve pricey but worth it.

simon, you know you have first dibs, did the m3 come back form the bodyshop yet? hows the scuttle looking?

It's still in, needs some extra work too, I'm hoping to have it back on Friday if all goes to plan, fingers crossed!!

I'm looking for a good trimmer to re-do the drivers seat bottom bolsters. Any recommendations for good companys much appreaciated !

A-Trim in the London area can supply good second hand leather bolster material for Ԛ£35 per section. Have phoned them and they have a ready supply of passenger seat bits that are in really good condition.

There is a trimmer that all the vw show cars use, based nr leeds, but he arranges a courier to pick up and drop off your interior.

He's done a couple of trims for my brother too, his work is immaculate!
