What suspension for my cab
Moderator: martauto
Just fitted 16's on my cab and now want to lower it slightly. Last suspension i bought for an e30 was a spax psx kit i had on a saloon. It was really good at handling but not what i want for the cab. I want it to handle well but not be crashy, i want less roll in the corners. i would like it to sit slighly higher at the back than the front. also my 16's rub the plastic inner arch because they're wrapped in 225 tyres so if i lower it would this get worse? what bout M-tech suspension, is it yellow bilsteins i ask for at ecp?

This weekend i had an Eibach ARB's set fitted to my 325 cab.
Its currently running standard dampers and springs.
I would say from experience that if you want to flatten the ride.then the first thing to do is fit an ARB kit.Either HR or Eibach.
The handling on my cab has definately improved, its much flatter round the bends, handles just like my old 325 2dr.
Much the same as you i wanted better handling, but i don't want the ride comfort comprimised,so i'm keeping the standard dampers, and will next buy some decent lowering springs, possibly 30mm all round.
