Don't you dare break it!
Sell it and use the free road tax next year as a selling point

I thought cars over 25 years old qualified for free road tax.....I remember a mate of my dad's talking a few years ago about how he was waiting for his '77 Silver Shadow II to become 25 years old so he doesn't have to pay tax....

Anyone know the insurance group?
Re the free tax thing the DVLA site says that only "vehicles constructed before 1st January 1973 that are not used for hire or reward or in connection with a trade or business" are exempt...bugger

Daz - don't know what the thing is with minilites, like the retro look
and I think that shape is ripe for them and I don't recall yet seeing one with them on.
The M30 option sound very tasty too!

Right then ive decided, going to put it in CARS FOR SALE section and stick it on Ebay!If I keep it,it is just going to get broke up for parts so if anyone wants it then let yourself be known!
Price?Dont want to be greedy,so I reckon Ԛ£125 is fair!
I know its worth more in bits, even with no reserve on Ebay, its got>
5 x Alloys
Excellent bumpers
All doors, bonnet and boot very good
Opening quarters
Very good interior
Superb Engine and 5 speed box
plus endless other bits
If ive still got it this time next week, this is going to happen so if your interested my mobile is 07859 373164 or send me a PM

Daz i can see it know, wheels and seats off my 316i and running gear from my 535i,very black paint, front skirt, twin exit exhaust and very low...
Main problem is,I got my Missus to take me to pick it up today, and as soon as she saw it,she said UUUUURRRRRGGGGG!
Tried convincing her of the above, but shes having none of it,got her mind fixed on a SAFE NEW MODERN CAR,but well see about that

Dont get me wrong, when it comes to cars,I rule the roost, but if im quite honest,I really have too many other things happening in my life right now,and cant really offer enought concentration or enthuisiasm to see it through!

Damn this car for being in Torquay! Was thinking even about it going to my old fella's place in Norwich, but that's still one hell of a hike and it will need trailering won't it.

Laws have changed lads! Only cars built before 1972 are classed as historic vehicles (tax free) so unfortunently it wont be tax free next year. Sorry.....
