£389 F/C is pretty cheap!!!

Very few people EVER pay under £300 for insurance on a daily driver doing average miles. Especially when they are 23 driving an e30 sport.

take it. unless you've been with a company for years then i doubt you'll get another deal that beats that one (the renewal 'reward' thingy)

how man miles is it for? Mines on a classic policy and it costs me £300 and I'm only allowed to do 5000 miles per year, and I'm 25 with more than full ncb, and an every day car.

if thats 8000 miles or more take it.

Very few lucky bastards or old jammy gits. Though to be fair my insurance isn't bad for two cars and all the others I get to drive daily.

It's always worth shopping around. There's NO benefit from staying with one company. Checkout gocompare.com/moneysupermarket/findacheapquote or anything, but don't be tied to any one place - there's always bargains out there. I got my cab insured fully comp for £132 from the Post Office!

Yeah, they're all right, comparison sites can be your best friend. And it doesnt hurt anything to change your insurer.

to a thought, but if the worst should happen. Directline will pay you peanuts for your sport. no way near the full value. to them its just an old beemer. not a classic. cheaper isnt always cheaper in the long run. i learned the hard way with directline. Mine was a mint 89 325i sport. It took me weeks to proove it was standard. they said i had fitted the body kit and stuff. to sum up. directline are the stuff you step in that comes from a dogs bum.

i would have been happy with that.i was paying £515 on my 325 pre engine conversion and im 37 with 4 years ncd and 0 points on my license.
mine only jumped up £115 to £630 after the engine conversion which was good 8)
