sound clips?

hey, dont know if it in the right section (not reayy asking a technical nut bolt question) but feel free to move thanks.

has anybody got any scorpion exhaust sound clips, im looking to buy one soon to match the btb manifold , how do they compare to the mongoose? the tail pipe are 3.5 inch on the mongoose where as the scorpions are 3.

ive looked on there website, the 325i sport on there is gorgeous (member from the zone owns it ), tail pipes look good tasty to, not to big and chavish hehe,

if no sound clips available can anybody describe the sound, im hoping its not roaring load like nova/coara/cossie etc etc style.

With my digi cam i can take a short movie so i'll do that when someone can record it while i rev it,lol.

Problem is how do i host it?

Can photoshop do it.

Oh yea, i do have a S/S Scoprion half system on my 318i.

Does sound very nice, and when cruising at 80 with very little throttle you dont really know its there, untill you give it some

i camn do the same as adam on mine too, in fact ive gone for "little drives" with the camera perched over the steering wheel what a twat LoL

wow u guys are helpful, please please please be carefull if you are going to drive and hold the camera about, dont want anybody injured or any e30s,

that would be great if you can get some mpeg, of the scorpions in action hehe.

reason i ask for a sound clip is because i dont want to spend Ԛ£380 only to turn out like a vrooom vroom/bad boy chav hehe sort,

but quite a few ppl have said manifold and scorpion are fantastic so i am convinced.

are they loud loud or nice and subtle? what about 50 70 mpg cruising?

also weres the best place to get a scorpion system from? ive seen 375 - 380 from motorsportworld (exc downpipe), reasonable i think? will see what proven products can do?

i need a 3 piece system, i dont think i need the down pipe because i can use the one im gettin from the BTB to match the btb manifold? is that correct?

the scorpion system sounds excellent, i have had 3 scorpion systems on different cars and they are excellent, also had a powerflow and that was noiser and a bit boomy.
go for scorpion mate i totally recommend them

i`m getting the btb manifold as well it links straight onto the front section of the scorpion.

without having to throw the spanner in the works, i am seriously thinking of getting rid of my scorpion, the noise becomes a bit much when on motorway runs etc. when you get it, it will sound like really souped up for a few days, then it carbon ups then you get the hot rod sound out of it.

amit is your 3 piece system scorpion lemans? wanna do a deal for my original system (proper BMW have the reciept to was done at about 80000 miles, now at 147500, still sound good)i only need it because of the btb manifold requried 3 piece system? mines a 2 piece pm me if you wanna talk

clip one idle sound baad, is it that load in the car, was the cruising motorway speed like? say 60 70 mph?

yeh 1st one the night one, i think the microphone takes a good bashing from the sound..

the sound does change from idle to full foot tho, notices that.

just saw the second sound clip, sounds nice, most definetly louder than the stock exhaust at cruising at 20 30mph speed.

nadz mate, how come your going for scorpion? youv got a german car - go for a german exhaust id recomend Remus or Sebring, you get a better range of tailpipes, and the sound is much much better

kam dude, im just going for the tried and tested, most ppl (majority??) have been and done with a scorpion not sure on the remus or sebring???
plus dont want to fork out hundreds just to find out theres fittin issues, build quality etc etc, to much hassle.. plus scorpion build quality ive read is actually quite good, which is a plus point..

match with a btb manifold i cant wait

id hate to throw another spanner in the works but i HATED the sound of a full Scorpion, enough to get a Powerflow midbox put in, a bit more bass and a richer sound now imo!
The midbox made a hollow tinny noise that shook everything, including my brain
But it did make dammn good popping noises on the overrun!

There might be a big difference to how M20s and M50s sound with a full Scorpion tho!
