Hi guys,

Thought I would come in and introduce myself.

I have and several BM's including a 318TI compact and 2 "evil" 328 coupes, one sport and one non sport. Currently am driving a 530 diesel.

I have just bought an E30 318is which I intend to use for track use.
It has covered 165k but has full service history and has had 3 owners from new. There is a little bit of rust on the sills and the bottom of the wings but nothing structural so I am not too worried.

I am intending on stripping out the interior and putting in some bucket seats and harnesses. An induction kit will follow shortly and when I have saved up some funds a new suspension kit. An exhaust would be nice as well but 318is ones seem rare second hand and cheap!

I will soon be selling the complete interior and parts from my car so can anyone give me any guide prices that I should hope for?

Only problem is the speedo packed on the way home but I have searched the site and seems the sensor on the diff can cause problems so I will check it out.

Anyway here are some pictures some of you may have seen it on Ebay!!

Hi mate,

Looks like you'll be having some fun in the iS!

Whereabouts are you based?

There's a trackday at Bassingbourn Airfield in North Herts if you're interested on the 17th of June, 99quid.

Enjoy! :)

Thanks for the quick replies guys.

I am loving' the 318 at the moment. Drove it from Stoke on Trent to Bath and I am pleased to report it pulls cleanly to the red line but luckily has a limiter :oops: :oops: I love the feeling it gives as opposed to the 530 which although is a good car just lacks fun. I am trying to sell the 530 at the moment for a Z3 2.8 :oops:

Will definitely look into the track day. Thanks for that. I am hoping to do a few laps at Castle Combe on the 11th June to get the feel of the car on a track. That gives me a month to strip it and get some seats in.

@Zayman
Just re-read my post mate and noticed a mistake. It sounds like I own all those cars but I don't lol. They are the ones I had in the past! At the moment I have the 530D and the 318is and a Fiesta for the wife :oops:
