Billie sports and H&R's, just the rear springs to go on the M3 now, and I am well impressed with the ride so far, deffo worth the Ԛ£Ã”šÃ‚£'s.

Try and bounce the car up and down now!! It's impossible!

also if i wanted i can add a -10mm plate that goes on the front to give -45mm which will look more slammed like the cup kit

I would probably have the second option due to clearance issues of the H&R cup kit :(

How does this work?

By Bilstien sport shocks do you mean the FAT M3 ones or something else?

What car are they going on?

For anyone who does not know already : Read point 12 please

What this means is that it will drop the car to a TOTAL of 40mm on the rear, and 60mm on the fronts, NOT an additional drop if you already have M-Tech suspension fitted.

When I spoke to a couple of H&R suppliers, and expressed concern about the massive 60mm drop on E30s using H&R Cup Kit, they kindly confirmed that they have NO record of any E30 owner complaining about rubbing or any issues like the car not being a daily/practical car or such rubbish.

So I personally don't see the point in wasting extra money buying Bilstein Sport dampers when H&R use those, made to H&R specs, in their Cup Kit ?

I'd say Cup Kit - simple !

All part of 1 kit, so there is no room for questions raised later on and the shenanigans about whether the springs are the cause or are the dampers the cause of any issues ?

Cup Kit, but i am a bit biased  at the end of the day it's just a matter of opinion, my car's chuckability factor is immense!

cup kit is great......

simon mine is fine as a daily driver! no bodywork rubbing at all....

rear only seems low cos of poly busheson back sitting differently...

if u think its too low u can always get spacers made to act as spring platforms....

cup kit all the way.... uve seen how mine does the twisties!

Option 2 get's my vote for a daily driver.

The cup kit will limit where you can drive the old girl.

is the H&R kit much harder? do they do one for a touring? i need stiffer springs badly! i'm currently running 17's on a 60/40 drop with koni adjustables and it does scrub but mainly due to the springs (unknown origin) being soooooo soft.

sorry for the off-topic btw!

but which do you plan to use? The shock designed for the 325i sport or the E30 M3 shock in the 325i legs?

The E30 M3 Bilstiens (the ones with the 4cm piston) give very impressive results for handling

i would use the sport dampers for a 325i.

My only concern would be the sump on the speed humps that are lumps in the road where they spread three across and not one big one right across the road if u get me?

Still can't decide! :x

Sump issues  can't say I've ever had those!
The only problem I've had with this kit is when my 318iS exhaust was a 2.5" bore and would scrape, but now I'm running a standard 325i exhaust all scrappage issues are sorted.

I don't think the back is the problem, the front is the main problem with it being -60mm.....

If you want the good handling, you'll have to be careful over the bumps and that! :)
