just wanted to ask what the difference is between an e30 mtec 2 steering wheel and an e36 one.

they are not interchangeable.

are they both the same design and diameter

e36 splines are a different pitch and the mounting depths are diff too.

in short..... dont even attept to fit one ! E36 wrongness for starters :lol:
