That'll pull your wall (fence?) down!

Should have gone for 15" BBS - you'd have noticed the difference in unsprung weight for sure.

Depends on whether it's got a spigot ring fitted or not.

Oh dear

To cut a long story short, they are very badly made (esp the BK racing make)

If you were to cut a decent wheel in half, the metal would be of a constant density, where as a BK racing wheel would more than likely be like an aero (full of bubbles) as they are open cast, rather than injected under pressure, so hence are weaker than a quality wheel and bend very easily.

Thats a very expensive hose reel!
I thought everyone knew the best thing for these is the scales at the non-ferrous metal merchants,
Now that is a benefit of being very heavy winkeye

There is another make (can't remember the name) but apparently they are not much better. I really like the Alpina wheels, but wanted them in 17", so I bought a set of E36 genuine ones to use with the 5 stud conversion, but these turned out to be bent when the arrived

Now I have gone a different route :D

the bk's? winkeye
ive never had a problem with either of the 2 sets ive had with the first set only needing replaced after a head on collision with a truck
ive hit a few deep potholes and the odd kerb or 2 with no more than a few scuffs of damage.
even when i compared the weight with tyre to an original 15" bbs with tyre there was only 2.5 kg between then at 17.5kg and 15 kg respectively.
i think bk's get a bad press and that most people just jump on the "bash the bk" bandwagon as its seen as the 'cool ,in thing' to do.
your all just a bunch of badge snob bullys and should all be ashamed of yourselves for picking on an easy target.
shame on you all

I had a set of 17" Alpina reps on my Sport, though they weren't BK's... they were APR or something like that. The rim is smoother than a BK rim.

Still, they wobbled like a mother, even with spigots fitted. Never ever ran as smooth as my BBS's - which was a shame coz I loved the look of them.
