I'd personally want to see at least 1 pic of it to see if it was a genuine one if not a VERY close copyed one, i was after one for my Cabby - waited ages and then a genuine one popped up on E-bay with a buy it know option for Ԛ£60//////nearly ripped the guys hands off.
Keep looking for the genuine artical, they just seem to pop up when your least expecting it.

To be honest the wind doesnt bother me as a driver, it's my rear passengers that complain. Is there a deflector with them in mind?

Bilyboy, they are great for the front 2 as there is no wind at all at big speeds too, only problem is that the original converts it to a 2 seater.
You can also get individual wind deflectors made by 'Kamei' which clamp to the rear of the headrest chrome uprights. You could fit these for the rear passengers only or to all 4 headrests.
Here's some going for 68p.

I had a wind deflector from Classic Additions.
Very very good and much cheaper than an OEM BMW item, though not quite as good looking (see Andy's pic)
Just sold mine for Ԛ£125... still fetching good money.

Never tried them but they must work though as all the wind in a convert, once the windows are up, is turbulent from the rear. Worth a go for cheap money..!

One of the other forum subjects is about what annoys u most bout E30's..............and thaTS IT MATE ! Thats it 4 me .. the noise at high speeds that is mental while in my cab with the roof UP ! Its great when its down But then its the wind, which is why were on this subject here I suppose. I've just put a bid on Motorsports suggestion 4 rear ones only. Cheers M/sport.
Peejay
Presumably , on this website, their sayin if you put the rear ones on u can still have the the front deflector in place. Is that right?

Yeah, it was great. Doesn't look as slick as the BMW OEM part, but it works, and that's all that matters!
At 100mph, with the deflector and windows up, there's hardly and noise or turbulence in the cabin. Really is good.
This is my old cab with the deflector in place.

The only noise you get is a whistle from the aerial, took me ages to suss out what was causing it. Must get an independant aeriel so i can put it down when the cd is in use...!

Andy, I put a single fog-light switch in the dash by the hazards and rearscreen demister buttons to put the electric ariel up and down so I could put it up when I needed the radio... worked great. You just have to interrupt the supply to it from the head-unit...
Hope this helps...
Giles.

Just the standard ones, and they were pants.
I think Gareth was on about buying an up-grade set for his Motorsport. Not sure what he went for in the end, but as far as I'm concerned, the latest slimline speakers from Blaupunkt are pretty bloody good.
