the pre owner of the car bought shock absorbers for lowered springs but instead of buyin the lowering springs he thought he would have the bright idea of cutting them, (dick head)

it is uncomfitable, it does rip your bushes 2 bit and it does wear only bout an inch of ur tire down 2 the wire in a few hours but **** me it looks sweet,

Car like an E30 has about 80-100mm suspension travel...it doesn't take a genius to work out what happens to that travel if you drop the susepension 80mm...
Car's without suspension are, in a word, shit.

gotta agree with thatAndyboy wrote:80mm drop - no suspension travel so the tyres are doing all the work. Excessive negative camber on the back so only the insides of the rear tyres are doing anything so reducing grip. Nice idea, go for it.
60mm is the best, 80 looks alright but is too low for a road car
my dads car has got around 80/90mm drop which was put on by the previous owner (will be changine very soon to 60/60, just waiting for funds to allow a complete new bush set) and there is no travel whatsoever, still goes over speed bumps with no scrapes as long as theres only 1 person in the car, every little pebble is like going over a brick, also like riding a mountain bike with no suspension over kerbs, the only reason the tyres dont rub is because of the negative camber they're nearly horizontal!
