Hello,

I need to have one if not 2 rear wheel bearings replaces in my tourer and would like to ask if there are any Northern Irish zoners that can recommend a workshop in the Belfast area or even elsewhere in NI that regularly works on E30s and isn't too flash and expensive.

I've heard that replacing bearings is a difficult job so I won't be tackling it myself,

Thanks in advance,
Sharknose

I live in Donegal, there's fella here who's good & not hard to pay. His name's John F. Kennedy (no joke). I suppose its a bit far for you though.

Thanks a lot for the response,

looks like there's nobody from Co. Antrim or Co. Down online.

If I was at a stretch I might go to BMW (Border Motor Works) near Strabane which is closer than Donegal but since the job would mean leaving the car it would be better to find something near Belfast

Regards,
Sharknose

Hi

It's not a diffcult job so a good local mechanic should do it, my dad uses a guy who works out of a unit behind the esso garage in holywood for work on his xjs/xk8 and company vans.

Outside Ballygowan isn't far -who's this guy? I haven't found anyone I've thought was too great yet either.
