i've read the article on the bigger throttle bodies and have read that they bought the part through a zone member so really i am tryin to find out who i need to speak to as this seems a good alternative to a chip! any advice or feedback from anyone who has fitted one of these would be great thanks.

If you mean a large bore throttle body (instead of ITBs) then it will be great with a chip. The Zone shop should be able to sort you out.

I do have a large bore TB, but its not fitted (and probably wont be until I have rebuilt the M20 - long way off  ). A mate had them on his 325i and there was a nice difference between our cars - they were pretty even before he fitted them.
