Newbie looking for bmw

Hi all, just started my own buisness fitting window blinds, the time has come to get me a bmw e30! i have promised myself one since i first started driving, i would just like a few tips on what to look for?

not too sure what i want i know the 325i is going to cost me 3k to insure fully comp, but thats not a problem, not to worried about 3/4 it being 3/4 door,

But what should i be looking for? when i go and look at one? by the way it has to be black
