My drives home are usually very boring as I like to save the fuel for the quiet roads. today however I made myself and another road user laugh so much I've just got to tell you all about.

Coming through Teddington to Kingston I was in the middle of a trio of cars doing 30 through a 30 zone. A copper blue lighting made us all pull over and I ended up at the back of the trio as I moved over before the Jag behind me.

Seeing the car at the front take a while to pull off I nip past them both an cruise a conservative speed (the copper pulled off shortly after we got started again) Now, even though there was loads of space and the road quiet the Laguna driver who wasnow behind me decided to flash me... I thought of this and carried on until I ended up side by side with said Laguna at the roundabout turning on to Kingston bridge. It's two lanes onto two lanes if you're turning right, for those who don't know it. Anyway he decided to cut me up quite harshly coming on to the bridge. Here of course is where the red mist sets in. the was no need for it at all but I now just *had* to get past him to give him a polite "why did you do that?" shrug of the shoulders (I don't bother with the middle finger, being nice usually pisses them off more) So I floor first, second and dump it in to third just as the bridge falls away (still two lanes) down a right hand bend back to normal road. I manage to slip between him and a white van, from inside to outside lane, just before the bend, leaving just enough time for some light braking to sweep nicely round the corner. Needless to say the back end has its little twitch. Nothing serious and well under control but proably looked a little hairy from the external perspective. So I slow down having proved my point very childishly, I know! Anyway, as he pulls up behind me I see him pissing himself with laughter, I do the same and we exchange a happy thumbs up out the window... all is well that ends well :D :D :D

Well, sorry for the essay but it made me chuckle.

Excellent,a driver who knows he's beat and happy to accept the fact :D :D

Mind, the asswipe that nearly took me out whilst over taking me in my Transit the otherday wasn't laughing when I chased him down and flew up to within an inch of his rear bumper at 80mph!
Twat just missed me as he pulled in front of me to avoid the oncoming Artic that he KNEW was coming, what gives theses bastards the right to play with my life?? (oh and not to forget the lorry drivers!)
I spent the next 8 miles tailgating him (in true Transit van style) at a safe, but annoying distance!
Think I might take up Transit van racing
