I love my 316 too. I have a 91 316 lux. It is always a pleasure to drive it. I find the M40 engine very smooth. Raspy when redlined. Rapid progress can be made at the expense of poor fuel consumption. Love the handling.

Its by no means a quick car, however it put a smile on my face (and my passengers) that the mummies boy couldnt put one over in his French tin can
Despite my weight penalties (better hurry up and get it fitted!

Ive heard some good things about the handling of the 106 GTi/Rallye but ive driven a 1.1 and its too small inside the cabin for my liking.Chaos wrote:nothing wrong with 106 pug

The Rallye and GTi are quite good, and handle well. There are other cars I'd have for the money, and the pedals are too close together, you can't press the accelerator down fully cos the front wheel arch is in the way!
