My 1st E30 was a 320i se loved it...but had 2 sell it. :(
Lost my license a few years back...So had 2 go and do a re-test, Well with that also comes NEW DRIVER status :-x No matter how long you have held your license.

 I now have a new love...My E30 316i Lux 4door Auto, cheap insurance, and a very nice drive...I am actually suprised at her performance on the motorway... :D

1s insurance allows me to i hope to upgrade my engine and go (manual) Although my baby is a snail compared with proppa E30's like the 325i sprts and dem! I still make most 1.8s and some 2.0 cars smell my dust (excluding the good ol Beemas of course) :D

Surfing the site....cnt wait to put pics up (as soon as i work out how)
Love the site.

Any ideas on what i can do to give my e30 sum street cred and a bit of punch on the 316i
Regards

Welcome to the zone!

Only been on here a month myself, still haven't worked out how to get my pics on the zone though, such as my sig or pic avator, but there again, I haven't actually asked. Bit like stopping to ask for directions, lol.

Have a 325 myself, but the same principles will apply to any engine in terms of getting more zip out of your car. Make it breath easier with an exhaust and air filter improvement, some decent plugs and leads and a general service will help it fizz a bit more, but beyond that I can't really say. Performance for pound, you then end up being better off putting in a bigger lump rather than tuning further, but you then pay handsomely with the insurance!

Hello all..thanks for your reply's....I want....actually NO I NEED more acceleration from my 316i, I have done a lot to it in the last year, I feel that the car is looking how it should aesthetically. All it needs it more POWER.

4 that i have added a custom exhaust back box from POWER FLOW xhasts, this has definitely helped a little with power and it sounds the bollocks...not as course as my old DTM on my 320i...nice and smoothhhhhh....Im not so sure about a K&N filter, I personally think the original BMW 1s are better, had one in my 320i se.

I have also upgraded my ICE and installed a AV head unit. I need a left hand drive/ M3 radio face plate...If anyone has or knows of where i can get one cheap......feel free to get back to me.

Wasssup Wilson....We will have to meet up one of these days so u can show me how to upload some pics of my Sexy beast.

Nice one.

Hi Zayyan

I have debadged my 316i, it does make a big difference, looks slick from the back.

MTEC.....mmmm..NAA don't think so, its a 4 door, i think the MTEC body kit looks better on the 2door models, saying that i might add some side skirts, like the pic above of the grey touring........yea they lok nice!

My suspension is lowered, but not enough i will lower the front slightly some day.

Hi E30BeemerLad

Can you advise me on what type of perfomance plugs i should be looking at?

Thanks mate.
