m3 panels on a sport

just seen genuine m3 wings and quarters for sale and now im thinkin i was going for a spot of derusting and sprayjob anyhow so should i purchase or more importantly do they fit

If you're going to do it do it to a tech 1 with the right rear lights. Also raised bootlid and rear windscreen..

Even better buy a real M3...

No. Sell the sport, use that money, plus the money for the project on buying a proper one.

rear wings won't fit as the C posts are shallower on an m3

buy the wings, store them and sell em when rusty M3's are commonplace, or use them to fix up a cheap rusty M3.. but dont waste them by sticking them on a sport or otherwise
