According to MSN (http://cars.msn.co.uk/CarNews/Top101kApr05/) the E30 touring is in the top 10 cars to buy for under a grand. I knew I'd made a good choice when I bought mine.

they have the wrong picture in that article. thats a picture of an e38 not an e32.
also those audi coupes are shite(look ok, but thats there only merit)
council porche 924, no thanks......
peugeot gti, respectable. but all are turds. they are great to drive though. golf gtis are still good.
capri, no thanks(banger racing possibly...). the charm of these cars must have past over me.

My flat mate has an Audi Coupe
My bro a 900 Turbo
And my half bro a 205 GTI
All for under a grand and running them is really cheap.
Wouldn't have the porche with the small engine though.
