Any chip that removes your limiter will let you hit 60mph in second & will do so at the same RPM - it's nothing to do with how good it is, just your gearing!

The only thing that could be debatable as to whether it was good or not, is whether it's good for your engine to do 7000rpm (it's not!).

I woudlnt take anything to 7k very often. Mine revs up to 7100rpm with the chip in but ive only taken it there afew times, apart from 0-60 theres no pratical purpose because peak power/torque is always a bit lower down anyway!

Like I said before, 60 in second just means your rev limit's been raised / removed... it could take half an hour to get there & still manage 60 in second!

Sounds like you've driven the 1100cc fiat uno I had back in 88 - lol

Does anyone know what the book time 0-60 is for a 320i in standard form.

The cars are quicker than the book times.

From what I've learned a healthy iS can do a mid 8's 0-60 easy, and 325i's are almost always mid 7s or under!

I think you'd find with 100% accurate timing equipment, you'd be closer to the book times than everyone gets using a stopwatch and the car's speedo.

G-tech can't be right.....6.57 for the Civic VT?? That's crazy...

Considering when the speedo reads 60 it's apparently doing only 53 I think you might be right :?

Are you saying the G-tech's are crap then Dave?

Was thinking of getting one soon :(

I don't think they are crap, they are cool for what they are, and they are cheap. But I don't quite believe the accuracy sometimes.

I'll take it to the Pod soon and it may change my mind. I'll report back!
