Ha ha.... was on the way to Barracks BMW in Newcastle today to pick up some 38p spoiler clamps.

One of these pulls up behind me at the lights, it was very very very scruffy with stickers etc and a 35+ year old chav in it and red faded paint.

Hard top though, any way I pull away from the lights changed gear at 3000 rpm and changed lane, ok so I was doing 60 in a 40 zone but who cares!
Mr Chav thinks I want to race, and pulls up next to me at the next lights and revs his engine, ok so I ignore him.
I pull away from the lights as normal and he pulls a car length in front, so I decide to test the zone chip and take it to the limiter in 2nd haha. The look on his face as I fly past haha I had my window down and could hear him thrashing his 4 cylinder bit of jap cr*p but he was still dropping away. Had to break very hard to get in to the BMW forecourt and had tyres squealing round the corner, not often the sales men see a Beemer sideways in the carpark!!! Lucky I didn't get told off

Just thought I'd share my experience because it is the first time I have EVER raced a random in the street, it was fcuking great!! Must go for another drive now and find some saxo boys.

It always surprises me the moster that lurks beyond 5500 rpm because I hardily ever rev it that high, bring on some racing.

Sounds like it was good fun :D

Be careful with the Saxo boys though - those big exhausts, induction kits and NOS stickers mean they've got at least 300bhp you know....

u laugh at saxo's but a VTS one can have it large with a 325, no weight see.
