that and the 4 spoked ones are the standard ones.

Its a shockingly huge pos, just like mine :eek:

Gutted as I have a tech1 wheel off of a e28 that I thought would bolt on but doesnt fit :roll:

Lux item. Quite a nice wheel if you were to ask me. Same diameter as an early e28/e30 mtech.

You need the little collet/adaptor ring thingy at a guess. Spline for spline they are usually compatible though.

It appeared that the e28 spline is smaller? And its a late one as well go figure.

If it's a very early e28... ? I mean real early, like up to 82 or thereabouts may still have an e12 column. Much beyond and we are getting into a kind of fuzzy area of my memory where the files are rather more dogeared.

Find almost any other e28 breaker/donor in this case.

edit: Oops, just read it properly. My apologies. Late e28 with an early column ? Now that was unlucky. See former last line.

It is a Sport steering wheel available as an option on the E30.

The steering wheel fitted to sport models was classed as a Mtech steering wheel

Ah cool, always wondered as i have one and i've always heard talk of the 4 spoke one as being standard. :)
