Will a petrol tank from a 318i (1988) fit on a 320i (1988).
I guess this is a definate no but i have some Bilstein shocks and springs that we're used to lower a 318i, will they fit on a 325i tourer, thanks

Springs and shocks from a 4 cyl are not suitable for a tourer, itll be on the floor

Tanks are different (6 pot is seven litres bigger), but are interchangeable. There's a complication (probably) with the fuel return pipe which means you'll have to use the 318i fuel pump and extend the return pipe.
Could be a complication with the fuel level sender(s) as well. If the original tank had two senders and the new one has one, the fuel gauge will read wrong. You need to swap the correct gauge into the instrument cluster to sort this.
