Ed I wasnt going to do anything with them on here till id welded up the slots on a set and test fitted them to a set of lights.
If they were/are ok i was going to weld a few up each time the mig was out, recut the new slot and flog them for a few quid on here/Ebay?
If you want ill post you a set,you weld/try them and let me know there good and everyones happy.
Sound fair?

eko, word of advice before you get the mig out...
take a headlamp apart stand one up as i should and place the glass back over the top.
They look exactly like a set I got off someone off here, I spent ages trying to get them to fit cut new holes etc... remember that welding stainless steel requires special wire!
The ones I had look identical and were way too tall to fit in the headlight by a long way.
I am making a set of my own from a steel shelving unit, seems to be good size for it and it's free.
I believe ziggy has a template for the cross hairs if I dont have it in my PM box infact!
Bollocks to this 24v scrap!

right-o!
I reckon it can be done but I got hacked off and made some more from thinner steel.
I cant remember who I got mine off but as soon as I saw them I knew it wasnt going to be as straight forward as one had hoped!

Ed,what Bobs said has just got me thinking.
Ive just put one of these upto the R3V template(actual size) and they are nowhere near the same
