If ive been told to get my injectors checked and matched what does it mean ?

Cleaning involves removing them from the engine, and having them ultrasonically cleaned (professional job). Getting them matched, makes sure that all the injectors are flowing the same amount of fuel.jibbers wrote:If ive been told to get my injectors checked and matched what does it mean ?

Sorry chap !
Do you think i have done damage by doin what i did ?
As far as i can tell it has only done good things for the motor , the only thing i can see going wrong is my mpg lessening , or is there a chance my lump could say fook this and jump up through the bonnet

id just check it for a few reasons.
i. to make sure the injectors flow properly and have a nice spray pattern
ii. make sure they all flow the same
just means it will all run better

Well in that case i think i will take a chance , like i said it seems to be running a lot better than before and the spray pattern i got after the deed was superb compared to what it was before.
If you see me later on doin this .....
You can say "Told ya" and do this .............
